This website portal was developed for the American Polish Advisory Council (APAC), a public policy organization based in Washington, DC, pursuing a consensus based agenda of issues important to the Polish American community. More than a century ago, the first waves of Polish immigrants began settling in the US, and subsequent generations are now firmly a part of American cultural, economic, and civic life. This community is cohesive - and they retain active ties to their own or their parents' homeland. Now, with Russia's miltary adventurism along the borders of the old Soviet Union, these connections have become increasingly important - Poland is a NATO ally, and borders Ukraine and Belorussia. This website, which operated until its founder's death in 2019, was the portal to news and announcements from, hosted an event management capability, and provided a gateway to a database of Polish-American candidates as well as elected and appointed officials of interest to the community. The site handled donations, crosslinks to social media, event reservations and payments, and aggregated published news media and releases. [Archived project]
